Video about the Crystal Healing properties of Amethyst. Amethyst has long been used for healing purposes. Ancient Romans used it to prevent drunkenness, Egyptians used it to speak with the Gods.

@addy3dia of course, crystals are gender neutral
If you don’t want to wear it as jewelry, you can always carry tumbled stones in a medicine bag or pouch and keep them in your pocket or wear them around your neck on a leather string. Many men opt for this option as it also give the flexibility of adding different stones that may amplify the effect they are looking for. Peace.

@rawrthekitty Crystals can be used for all the Chakras, actually. I just depends on the effect you are looking for. Amethyst is usually associated with the third-eye chakra b/c of its purple color and it ability to gently open your third-eye. It does this by channeling crown chakra energy into the third-eye. Namaste
i heard it was crown chakra not 3rd eye?!
@purenergyhealing Yes, you are free to say what you like with our freedom of speech. However, let me reference something you’ve just said: “My videos don’t suggest a believe (sic) system.” You’ve written to me several times with the sentiment, “It’s all about what you believe.” You appear to be contradicting yourself, no?
@SubconsciousGatherer Also, lets keep it straight that I am not selling crystals or proselytizing to anyone. I am sharing my interests with other people as I am free to do under the bill of rights (we still have those, no?). My videos don’t suggest a believe system, nor do they suggest using crystals in loo of medical treatment, they educate people about already known ancient metaphysical healing properties of various stones. If u want MORE information, please read the book I keep suggesting.
@SubconsciousGatherer No, b/c that wouldn’t be right in my own heart. I don’t just blindly do what others tell me to ( I am spiritual, NOT religious), that should be obvious by now. I check in with my own intuition and consult my own spirit guides through meditation, yoga, etc. Remember the Buddha quote? Please, keep that in mind when forming responses. I don’t care if you believe in spirit or not. You don’t have to believe in it, for it to be true to me.
@SubconsciousGatherer I am not selling anything here. Crystals are not my “product”. I am not trying to convince anyone of anything. I am informing like-minded individuals about the esoteric metaphysical healing properties of certain crystals. I won’t debate the existence of god/spirit with you. Its a pointless debate. You are the one trying to convince ME of something. What is your proof that these things DON’T exist?
@purenergyhealing If someone comes along and tells you, “Sell your home, sell your possessions, and follow me,” wouldn’t you ask them, “Why?” If they said, “It’s a message from the spirit realm”…would you then take their advice? I wouldn’t. I’d ask for some evidence, just like I’m asking *you* for evidence of this apparent spirit world.
@purenergyhealing So you do admit there is no verifiable evidence for what you’re “selling” here? Shouldn’t you have some hardcore facts to back up your product, other than “I believe in it”? Also, when you throw out phrases like “matters of the spirit, the etheric and astral realms” you’re just continuing to use fancy speak for things you also cannot prove are realm. Just saying something is “of the spirit” says NOTHING unless you can prove this “spirit world” exists.
@SubconsciousGatherer I plan on making a series of videos explaining some of these theories, but like all good things, they take time
@SubconsciousGatherer I have never said their was verifiable evidence. I am talking about matters of the spirit, the etheric and astral realms. These realms are not verifiable by scientific means, at least not yet. But if you are really interested, Richard Gerber (an MD) has written a book called Vibrational Medicine. It is one of the best collections of available “scientific” studies/explanations and theories around many new age healing techniques like crystal therapy and reiki.
@purenergyhealing Sure, that’s why I’m suggesting calling source energy “source energy” and not “God.” I’m not trying to be a stickler, I’m just trying to weed out the unnecessary jargon and get to the core of the matter. I’m still waiting to hear what verifiable evidence is that backs up your claims. I’m asking with all sincerity and with no hint of scorn. I truly want to hear what you’ve got.
@SubconsciousGatherer Try reading Carl Jung’s “Symbols of Transformation” and Joesph Cambell’s “the Power of Myth”, for some great information on symbolism and its ability to transform and inspire.
@SubconsciousGatherer can we please get past semantics?
@SubconsciousGatherer Well, you would have to actually study esoteric texts. These ancient texts (Egyptian, Greek, roman etc.) cite the use of Amethyst elixirs to cure or prevent drunkenness. BTW Thank you for continuing to proving my point “only when I’m aware of its presence that my own resolve is strengthened”. “Merely a symbol”? Do you not understand the power of symbols? Symbols are used everyday to inspire, motivate, sell and coerce even manipulate. Don’t downplay the power of suggestion.
@SubconsciousGatherer You are the one insisting on proof, not me. I can “grasp” what you are saying. I just don’t agree with you. I don’t have to prove that god/source energy exists to know it does. You seem to be stuck on this “if there is not scientific proof it doesn’t exit” kick. It is you who can not grasp what I am saying b/c you lack faith in anything but the seen world. I don’t.
@purenergyhealing If you “lack the appropriate term to describe ‘source energy’ ” then why not just call it “source energy” instead of “God”? Calling it “God” just confuses things and heaps on unnecessary baggage.
@purenergyhealing Correction, if you are going to make claims about healing properites of a stone then you indeed need to provide evidence for it (if you wish to be taken seriously). You seem to be stuck on this “if it feels right in your heart then it’s right” kick, and I’m sorry, but that’s neither science or logical. “True in their own hearts” says ZERO about what is true. Something is true or it isn’t, regardless of what someone feels (can’t you grasp that?)
@purenergyhealing First, please describe the “known healing properties” of amethyst that you mention. Second, you’ve missed the entire reason for why I wear it. It’s a SYMBOL, nothing more, nothing less. I do not wear if for magic properties, but rather as a REMINDER of sobriety. The stone itself does nothing but hang there. It’s only when I’m aware of its presence that my own resolve is strengthened. It’s merely a symbol. If a shark’s tooth symbolized sobriety then I’d wear THAT.
@SubconsciousGatherer “I found it INSPIRING to know that it’s based on the Greek words meaning “not intoxicated,” [they named it that b/c of its known healing properties] and as a former drinker I decided to buy one (in necklace form) to wear as a reminder of my dedication to sobriety” looks to me like you did put your “belief in a stone’s ability to improve [your] life”. I hope it works for you. BTW, This is EXACTLY how I and the video suggest people use crystals.
Hi there,
I can totally vouch for the healing properties of crystals and stones. We gave my mother in law a hand picked selection of crystals to take into hospital for a major op. The doctors actually said that she recovered far quicker than they would normally expect.
Works for me!
