Dear Tired Skeptic:

I know you are skeptical of anyone saying they can show you a way to make money. There are so many scams out there I hardly blame you. This is not about getting rich. It is about controlling your own future. Making your own way.

Can you set aside your skepticism long enough to consider your future?

It would be difficult for you to be as skeptical as I was. I have schemed, planned, discussed, made offers and investigated so many business opportunities that it would make your head spin.

Nearly all of them had something you could hang your hat on.

The problem was this–it was trading one form of slavery for another. The great majority of small business demand a TREMENDOUS amount of time! Add to that the cost and you have a recipe for trouble.

Unless you are the wizard Merlin, you cannot conjure up more time. Even Bill Gates or Warren Buffett cannot buy any more time. That makes it the most important factor in any business decision.

Given the time and money involved, it was important that a good decision could be made. Everybody knows that most small businesses fail. Being a failure and crawling back to the rat race was not in the cards.

So what factors should you use to investigate whether an opportunity is legitimate or a scam? That is precisely the right question. Let me tell you the things I looked for:

	A company with long-term success. If you are in it for the long haul, you want to make sure the company will be there for you with the management, financial backing and product line to ensure your future
	Competitively priced consumable products. You want to have an opportunity for long-term customer relationships. Magic rocks or a wham-a-dyne juice may make the headlines but do not have the staying power of great consumable products
	No risk. The costs and time investment must be low while rewarding you for your effort. Anything else is a glorified hobby

This list is certainly not the be all and end all. I imagine you could add one or more factors of your own. It is simply what made sense to me when considering all of the angles.

What we learned in our research was that there are opportunities out there that can make a lot of sense. You just have to be willing to dream again. You have to be willing to take another chance. Maybe, just maybe, we can help you find the fit you are looking for.
